Un-Cheney Heart: Isn’t it time for the vice president to get a heart transplant?
I think the real question is, can Cheney live forever?
G.O.P. Rivals Exchange Jabs in Testy Debate
Things got nasty last night in Florida. Huckabee did well, Thompson was funny but still ineffectual, Giuliani and Romney fought each other, and McCain showed his moral sense once again on the torture issue. On a side note: As the one person on stage last night who was actually the victim of torture, McCain is the only one I listen to on the subject. I find it very dismaying that the rest of the republican candidates discuss the subject of torture so cavalierly, especially Romney and Giuliani. I don’t see how it could harm the efforts to stop terrorism by saying that we will not torture when we interrogate, especially since torture doesn’t work anyway.
Bill Clinton’s Claim of Opposing Iraq War From Outset Disputed
Chris Matthews took Bill Clinton to task on Hardball last night about this. Things are looking up for Obama and Edwards.
Why is Mitt Romney like dog food?
Ignore the title. This is more about the strengths of Huckabee than the weaknesses of Romney.

Lott Joins GOP Exodus
Good riddance to a politician who publicly stated he wished Strom Thurmond had won the Presidential Election of 1948. Thurmond was of course known not only as the Methuselah of Congress but also as the man who tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act of 1957.
Did I mention good riddance?
GOP candidates to field YouTube queries with edgy race undecided
This should be good tonight. Look for fireworks between Giuliani and Romney. I’ll be watching that dark horse libertarian, Ron Paul.

In France, ‘a Bomb Waiting for the Match’
After the 2005 riots, this really was just a powder keg waiting to be reignited. My only question: why are the rioters burning libraries?
