Michael Coren believes that legalized gay marriage is “Canada’s biggest mistake,” yet he produces no evidence whatsoever to back up his claim, and instead falls back on the old arguments of morality and the “slippery slope” of gay marriage ultimately leading to polygamy and bestiality becoming social norms.
If gay marriage is truly the biggest mistake Canada has ever made then shouldn’t there be evidence to back that up; a rise in violence, youth suicides, domestic abuse, or divorce rates? And if there are no facts to back up the claim, is it not merely rabble-rousing bull shit?
Michael Coren could have easily become the first to simultaneously win Spin of the Week and What’s Wrong With America? for the same piece, but we at Rebel feel any designation would lend more credibility to this piece than it deserves.
Enjoy!
